Job Description:
As a Video Editor & Reels Creator, you will be responsible for producing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content tailored to our social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and website. This role will focus on creating engaging short-form video content, including reels, that highlights our software offerings, customer success stories, product tutorials, and company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, to promote our software and engage our audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts aligned with the company’s brand identity and marketing goals.
- Work with software demos to highlight key features, benefits, and user experiences.
- Edit video footage to ensure high-quality output, incorporating music, graphics, animations, and sound effects where necessary.
- Ensure timely delivery of videos for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
- Stay updated with video trends, social media algorithms, and best practices to optimize content engagement.
- Manage and maintain video production equipment, ensuring all technical aspects are smooth during shoots.
- Coordinate video shoots, including script preparation, scene planning, and managing talent, as required.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, resolutions, and lengths).
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing and production (preferably with software or tech products).
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After effects and Photoshop or similar).
- Experience with motion graphics and animations is a plus.
- Ability to shoot high-quality video content using DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or smartphones.
- Knowledge of audio production, lighting, and camera operation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and their video content requirements.
- Creativity and the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging video content.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in tech or software industries.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design in video content.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong editing and content creation skills.
