Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Web Developer proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, and Laravel to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites and web applications, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and working closely with designers and other developers to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, and Laravel.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into responsive, interactive web pages.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Assist in the development of project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Developer.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
